I don't know. It once was The Sheraton Hotel several years ago before DoubleTree
Love coming here! Great food, great atmosphere. But Matt makes it perfect!! Come here and ask for him. He will take great care of you!
Hands down the best meal I've had in a long time. The atmosphere is great and the service was awesome.
restaurant of the doubletree hotelnot too much choice from the menu, but anyway food is good
The food was great! My only issue was them not having the pot roast as usual, they only serve it on Mondays now. I went ahead and ordered the meatloaf and it was delicious. The Thai wings were good as always too😊
The menu selection is expansive. So many options! Healthy choices and quality food. Inviting interior and cool outdoor seating area.
Houlihan's is a well-known-in-Columbus, Ga. cozy, maybe romantic restaurant-bar. Food: good.Wine: plenty. Good friendly service; helpful staff. It's off a main drag by a block, close to I-185, ,(The Lindsay Creek Bypass )& the airport; Sidney Simon's shopping area I think grads use Houlihan's,much.
Krystal is THE BEST!!!! I will be back as long as she is here!!
Me and my partner tried here on Sunday night. We order the appetizer and our meals at the same time. The appetizer was the cauliflower and for our dinner plates I order the salmon and my partner just got a house salad. After about 5 to 10 minutes we were informed that they were out of the cauliflower. So we had to quickly make a decision for a different appetizer. We chose the firecracker shrimp. After about 10 to 15 minutes the shrimp came out, followed by the rest of the food a few minutes later. The Salmon was barely warm and when I put the dill sauce on it, the sauce was cold like it came straight from the freezer. The shrimp we ordered was okay, some of them had more sauce than others. The waiter was absent after the food was served, since I was starving I ate my whole plate. The reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one is because the taste of my salmon was great, it was just cold and appeared to have been sitting before being served.
Went here because of the reviews. They didn't lie. Great meal...esp for my very picky husband. He raved about the potato soup. He said the fish and chips were "very nice".....high praise from him!! Great service. Not a long wait for our food. Friendly staff. We'll be back. :)
Went here for Valentine's day. My wife and I loved how it wasn't super busy, but the food was great. Seeing as how it is located on the ground floor of a hotel, it's understandable that it wasn't busy, but it's worth a visit.
Always have liked this place. Good service, good selection, always enjoyable
My son got boneless wings tossed in buffalo sauce and fries. Of course I had to taste...some of the best boneless wings I've ever had! I almost wish I had gotten THEM! Yum. Next morning we ate brunch there. I got the goat cheese and veggie omelette with breakfast potatoes. Very good and filling! Highly recommend!!
First time back since the outbreak. Shrooms are great as always. Pot stickers, and fried cauliflower are new to the app menu, but also tasty!
Great service great food wait staff and management excellent Scallops roast beef 5 stars
We went there to meet with the event planner and the hotel. We sampled the food they had pick for the wedding. Very nice
Really enjoyed my experience here. Our server, Elissa was very prompt in greeting us and did an excellent job of explaining my options with my meal. The overall setting was comfortable and inviting. Food was excellent. Will definitely be returning.
Arrived at 8 pm. Took until 830 to get our order placed with the server. . Good luck getting a drink refill. I told waitress we had to be upstairs by 915 to attend an event and she asssured me that was enough time. 935pm and still no food asked for our food to be placed in to go box’s because our group was waiting on us upstairs. My entry was ice cold. My friend ordered chicken Cesar salad and they gave her chicken Alfredo, had to wait for them to correct that. $ 100 bill for the worst restaurant Ive experience in a longggg time. No offer of compensation. Don’t waste your time coming here
Dood was not great. Sandwiches and fries were cold. Waitress acted as if she did not want to be working that day. We will not eat there again.
It's always relaxing and quiet. The food is delicious and the servers are very attentive. Overall pleased.
We sat at the bar for dinner. The bloody mary was great! Lots of food options for food allergy people, me being one. Service very friendly, food was a little slow, but worth the wait. We had fish n chips and the sirloin wedge salad. The polenta croutons are amazing!!
THAI WINGS AWESOME, BACON CHEESEBURGER AWESOME, CUSTOMER SERVICE AWESOME!!!
Always go there for game day because it gets just the right amount of people but it is never loud or crazy. Love the ambience and the outside sitting area.
Drinks were great. Waitresses were attentive. Food was good. Overall experience was good. One of my favorite spots for after work.
By far my favorite brunch spot in town. The bloody mary bar is well priced, well stocked, and easy to use. The brunch entrees are quality modern takes on traditional breakfast options. If you’re coming through for an Airborne or Ranger School graduation, this is the place to brunch!Their dinner menu has also received a makeover recently, with an improvement in both taste and creativity.
This particular Houlihans restaurant is in the Doubletree hotel. Stop by on a date with the wife. We got a bunch of appetizers during happy hour. Ok, the very best thing we had were the stuffed mushrooms! They were very good. Next, was the guacamole. It came with chips and salsa. I ordered some sliders, but they were not seasoned well and tasted bland. One of my burgers were burnt. We also had wings, and they were good. All and all I enjoyed and will go again.
One of my favorite spots to eat. great location, well organised, and very good service. I highly recommend them!
Slow! Manager was unwilling to apologize for cash register problem. It took more than 15 minutes to pay... in cash. She wouldn't even come over to my table. I offered to round up to the nearest $5 so I could leave - nope. When I finally got up and gave her the cash she silently walked back past me to the back and eventually returned and handed me my change. I get they were having technical problems but you need to at least be civil about it. Her excuse was another customer was complaining ahead of me... I did tip the server as it didn't appear to be his fault. The food was just ok.
The ahi tuna salad is delicious. The tomato soup is also very delicious. The service we received was not the best. Our order was mixed up and delayed several times. We ordered at the same time but it took an hour for the other party to receive their food. The manager was courteous and very professional in trying to solve the issues.
My mom and all of her friends in Columbus love this place, yes its a local secret, and now that she took me there I must agree. If you want to enjoy good appetizers, a wide range of house specialty cocktails, and branded brews and stay in the N Columbus area, but off the beaten path for some downtime, then Houlihans North provides an atmosphere accomodating to the more metropolitan feel you desire whilst remaining more off the radar. 5 stars! Well done to the staff and managers.
The food was great and the staff where so friendly and caring
I stay at the Double Tree Hotel. Which they are a part of . It's so nice not to get back in in car to go eat dinner after working all day.The food is great and the service is as well.
Quiet when you walk in you have a feeling you are in a special place. And you can be casual. They just changed the menus and the staff is edgar to tell you their favorites. You can get a drink at their full bar. The room is set up so you can watch tv if you want but you can also sit so u don't have to if you don't. High chairs booths tables take your pick.
Enjoyed eating at the bar. Food was really good as was the service. Would return if staying at the Doubletree Hotel again...super convenient.
My server was Jessie. He was very polite and attentive. Drinks are nice...and strong! Weet woot! I had the grilled chicken kale & spinach salad. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Salad was nice and fresh. They have a diverse list of cocktails...posted. No complaints on my end. Very pleased, considering it is attached to a hotel. Bravo!
Stopped by for my first night in the area and took a chance with Fish and Chips. I was impressed with the chef's excellent discipline to produce a lightly battered whole filet, down to the tail. One of the top 10 Fish & Chips I've had in my travels.
LOVE THAT I CAN HAVE THE MINI BURGERS WITHOUT THE BUNS AND THE ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS ARE AMAZING! THANKS HOULIHSN'SOH AND MY HUSBAND ENJOYS THE FISH TACOS. ALWAYS FRIENDLY SERVICE TOO!
What a lovely place! The food was magnificent and the manager, Lisa, was so kind and helpful! We will definitely be back!
Overpriced, understaffed, food was honestly pretty bad. Salads were swimming in dressing, food was served lukewarm.
Great food and quick service for for those with a short period of time to eat. The lunch menu is varied and reasonably priced.
This is a nice restaurant attached to the Doubletree hotel. You can certainly have a good meal here but make your selections carefully. Some items are better than others. Also- my recommendation is to stay away from the bar if you are wanting a normal experience. Both times I have been here the bar's patrons were intoxicated and doing shots with the bartender. No big deal really but this is primarily a restaurant (at least this is my opinion- others would disagree) and drunk ladies flirting with a slightly buzzed bartender is a bit out of my interest.
